. upstate new york from this past storm, got slammed with nearly 20 inches of it. meteorologist maria molina is live in the fox extreme weather center. >> harris, good to see you. we got the brand new computer models updated and chances are increasing to see more snow from the storm. eastern porgss of massachusetts, connecticut and the state of rhode island could look at over six inches of snow with areas possibly seeing a foot of snow. so again the chance of seeing more snow from this next storm system is increasing here. it is pulling in a lot of moisture from the gulf of mexico. that is one of the reasons why we think we could see a little more than originally anticipated. right now it is producing snow across areas in chicago, northern parts of the state of indiana that into michigan. on the southern end of the storm system we have showers and thunderstorms in louisiana, mississippi and tennessee. eventually both of these areas will be coming together and moving towards the northeast. i do quickly want to point out between these areas we're actually seeing freezing rain falling early thi

the country. rick leventhal is live in new york city with more, rick? >> reporter: family members of keyes's victims say this is best thing that could happen, serial killer spares himself and sparing trials and delays in punishment. israel keyes is being held in jail cell in anchorage, alaska, facing trial for the murder of a 18-year-old girl abducted from a coffee kiosk. they believe samantha koenig was killed and her body found in ice covered lake. keyes used her atm card in several states before being caught in texas and tried to escape during trial. [shouting] >> back up. >> get him back. >> reporter: tough to hear that was obviously audio from the courtroom. keyes was alone in his is cell when he was found dead. authorities wouldn't say how he ended his life. he gave very little information about these alleged other murders. he claimed responsibility for at least four other murders in washington state and the other in new york but few details. he confessed to killing a couple in vermont, bill and lorraine currier, from essex. their bodies were never found. they found signs of forced e

. they keep on saying we haven't put forward real spending cuts. actually there was a graft in "the new york times" today that showed. they are the same categories, right? there is a little bit of tweaks here and there, there's a few differences, but, you know, we are right there. and on the revenue side there is a difference, in terms of them wanting to preserve tax breaks for folks between 250 and a million that we just can't afford. i mean keep in mind i'm in that income category, i'd love to, now, not pay as much in taxes, but i also think it's the right thing to do for us to make sure that people who have less, people who are working, people who are striving, people who, you know, are hoping for their kids, that they have opportunity. that's what we campaigned about. that's what we talked about. and this is not a situation where i'm unwilling to compromise. this is not a situation where i'm trying to rub their face in anything. i think anybody who looks at this objectively would say that coming off my election, i have met them at least halfway in order to get something done for the coun
